Ingredients

  1. 1 litrefull fat milk
  2. 2-3 tbsplemon juice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Heat a saucepan and boil milk. When milk comes to a boil turn off the gas.

  2. 2

Wait for 5 minutes. Than gradually pour lemon juice in it.

  3. 3

Then gently stir the milk until the entire milk begins to curdle.

  4. 4

If the milk doesn't curdle fully add more lemon juice and gently stir. Wait until the entire milk curdle.

  5. 5

Pour some cold water in it and wait for 2 minutes.

  6. 6

Place a muslin cloth in a strainer and gently pour curdle milk in it.

  7. 7

After 2 minutes remove cloth and squeeze well. So all the excess water/whey drain out well.

  8. 8

Now put this cloth in a plate and arrange paneer in square shape. Now tightly fold muslin cloth like envelop.

  9. 9

You get a square shape in your hand. Gently place it on even surface and put a heavy object (generally I used pressure cooker filled with water) over it and leave it for 4-5 hours.

  10. 10

After 4 hours check. Paneer square is ready to use. Cut all four sides to give it a perfect square shape.

  11. 11

Crumbled these sides and use it tikkis or paneer bhurji (already posted).
