Growing up buns were so popular in my country(Zimbabwe) you found them sold everywhere. People enjoyed them especially with a bottle of Cocacola or Fanta. My mum also made them a lot. However, I never got the hang of them. Today was my 4th attempt and I nailed them, phew! I came across this recipe in a facebook group

I discovered my love for cooking a few years ago. Since eating out is expensive i figured i had some learning to do. Living in a very small town(i doubt it can even be called that) where you cant always find what you wanted also pushed me towards doing it on my own. I am Zimbabwean by the way.I think the internet is the best invention ever since i can look up recipes, try and modify them to suit my preferences. I love sampling dishes from different countries and of course stories behind them
