#myrecipe - immunity-boosting food. Mooli/Radish is one of the healthiest vegetables. Not everyone like to eat mooli. So I have tried mooli paratha. It really works everyone in the family now likes to eat.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Keep all the above ingredients ready. Peel and first grate the mooli /Radish. Tip:- depending upon mooli quality some mooli leaves the water. In that case, always squeeze the mooli and keep the water aside. Water can be used to knead the dough.
- 2
Grate green chilli, ginger. Add Ajwain, Amchur powder. Tip:- you can always adjust the ingredients as per your taste.
- 3
Add chopped coriander leaves, and salt. I have added coriander cumin powder. It's optional.
- 4
Add wheat flour, Red chilli powder and add salt as needed. And oil (1tbsp)for binding the flour. Mix all ingredients well, before adding water.Tip:- adding oil will make paratha soft.
- 5
Knead the dough well with water or the mooli water (as in step 1). Add water little by little. Consistency of the dough should nor be thick nor thin. Tip:- always give resting time for dough some 20 to 25 mins.
- 6
After resting time. Make a lemon size dough. And roll it to a medium thick dough..
- 7
Switch on the gas. And Preheat the tawa. Put the rolled dough in tawa. After 1 min, Now upside down the paratha and allow to cook. Now little bubble starts forming in paratha. Add oil to all the sides and top of paratha.
- 8
After adding oil. Now turn the paratha. with the help of a spatula gently press the sides of paratha. And add oil to the top portion. And again turn upside down for 1-2 section:- the gas flame should always be on the medium-high flame while cooking paratha. The slow flame will make paratha hard.
- 9
Now mooli paratha is ready to serve. You can serve with pickle, salad, or with curd.
