Ingredients

3 hrs
10 servings
  1. cake dough
  2. 250grm +3 tbsp, plain flour (maida)
  3. 2,eggs (lightly beaten)
  4. 1/4cup, sugar
  5. 1-1/2tesp, instant yeast
  6. 100grm, butter
  7. 1/4tesp, salt
  8. 1/4cup, full cream milk
  9. 2tbsp, honey
  10. Honey almond toping
  11. 100grm, almonds (sliced)
  12. 4tbsp, sugar
  13. 4tbsp, milk
  14. 4tbsp, butter
  15. 2tbsp, honey
  16. Pastry cream
  17. 250grm, Whipping cream(whipped)
  18. 200ml,full cream milk
  19. 2tbsp, sugar
  20. 1/2cup, Whipping cream
  21. 3tbsp, Mango or vanilla custard

Cooking Instructions

    (for cake dough) Take a bowl, add milk, sugar, salt, honey and butter and melt it in Micro wave oven.

    Take another bowl and add plain flour and instant yeast and combine well. Then add eggs and butter mixture in it.

    And mix gently.(add 3tbsp plain flour if mixture feels sticky.) rest the dough for an hour for proofing.

    Once, dough rise and Duble in size transfer into a greased cake pan (10 inches round cake pan)

    (for honey almond toping) Now, take a pan, add sugar, milk, butter and honey and cook on high heat until boiling. And mixture becomes little thicker. Turn off the flame.

    Remove the pan from stove stir for a minute then add almond slices and give a mix. Now pour the mixture on top of cake dough and bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. (180c temperature). Once cake is cooked completely and nice golden on top remove from oven and cool completely then cut.

    (For cream) take a bowl, add milk, sugar and custard powder and combine well. Then cook on medium high heat until becomes thick. Once thick turn off the flame and add cream and mix well. Cool completely.

    Once custard cool completely give a mix with fock or hand beater. Take a bowl, add whipped cream and beaten custard and mix well.

    Cut the cake in two slices, spread pastry cream evenly and cover with top cake slice.
