Fruit custard is one my favourite from #childhood. Mom used to make from "Ready to use Custard powder". I too used to make from it but few years backs when I read the ingredients on the back side of the packet dedicatedly , I found the basic ingredients printed on it is easily available in my kitchen pantry, so I thought why not give a try and it turned out yummy. So from that time onwards I stopped buying the so called Custard powder.
Ready to use Custard powder is basically cornflour with vanilla flavor and yellow food color, which is readily available in everyone's kitchen pantry nowadays. So simply mix cornflour with milk and sugar and your custard is ready in a ziffy from scratch and way cheaper than Ready to use Custard powder and tension of buying a custard powder packet. Add fresh fruits of your choice and nuts and serve chilled!
Whatever other fruits may be there but my favourite fruit in the custard is Banana
This dessert comes handy when friends comes on short notice.
