Fruit custard is one my favourite from #childhood. Mom used to make from "Ready to use Custard powder". I too used to make from it but few years backs when I read the ingredients on the back side of the packet dedicatedly , I found the basic ingredients printed on it is easily available in my kitchen pantry, so I thought why not give a try and it turned out yummy. So from that time onwards I stopped buying the so called Custard powder.
Ready to use Custard powder is basically cornflour with vanilla flavor and yellow food color, which is readily available in everyone's kitchen pantry nowadays. So simply mix cornflour with milk and sugar and your custard is ready in a ziffy from scratch and way cheaper than Ready to use Custard powder and tension of buying a custard powder packet. Add fresh fruits of your choice and nuts and serve chilled!
Whatever other fruits may be there but my favourite fruit in the custard is Banana
This dessert comes handy when friends comes on short notice.

#Vegan - This Fruit Custard is made with Sweetened Corn Milk. As readymade custard powder contains powdered milk , I replaced it with a mixture of corn milk and rice starch to make it more friendly to Lactose-Intolerants and vegan. It is an innovative procedure wherein the original flavour and appearance is not missedAbhi

Banana Custard Cream Banana Custard Cream
I love custard cream.I love it as a filling for bread or cream puffs. I like it on its own as a dessert too.I don't like making complicated recipes myself, so I aimed for a simple and easy one.The key is to keep mixing it with a whisk over low heat. When it starts to thicken it progresses very fast, so if you stop mixing it will become lumpy. The key to a smooth, creamy finish is constant mixing. Caramel Custard Caramel Custard
I wanted to make a caramel flavoured custard for cakes. If you mix this cream with whipped cream, it will be vary tasty. "Urufuwan's"is cooked with just with plain flour and butter, so you could adjust the flavors later. You could use it for cooking or baking like this. This is a light custard. If you prefer it richer, replace some of the milk for heavy cream, or add 2 egg yolks. If you want to use this for filling buns, this may taste bland. Cook the caramel for longer and increase the amount of sugar. This cream is still quite runny after its cooled. If you want a stiffer custard, add more white sauce roux or decrease the amount of milk to find the thickness you like. Recipe by SALASA cookpad.japan
