Adorable 3D Panda Cookies Adorable 3D Panda Cookies
When my little girl came home from school, I was in the kitchen making cookies. I thought I'd let her guess what kind of handmade cookies I was making. But... she didn't guess it????? She found some partially assembled panda dough in the fridge. Oh no, the surprise was ruined!!! But she was still happy because she got to eat cute cookies. She even said she wanted to share them with her teacher and classmates. You can make these adorable 3D panda cookies without a mold. Just a little kneading and they're done. These cute panda cookies are irresistibly adorable, you have to try them! Almond Sugee Cookies Almond Sugee Cookies
One of my regular customers requested this. I honestly never seen or heard about these cookies before, so I took up the challenge and made her some of these cookies. She even gave a recipe to follow. I sorta added a few elements of my own to the recipes and this is what I came up with. You must be wondering what kinda Chinese I am. Haha! I remember when I was a kid and couldn't even read any Chinese characters, my friends will make fun of me, "what are you?" Anyway, these cookies really have that melt in your mouth sensation. But the trick (or rather like any cookies) is to eat these warm. If they are left at room temperature for a while, the soft interior will tend to dry out.To my surprise, these cookies are 100% vegan! Yes, dairy-free and eggless! After making these, I was kinda in a dilemma; almond sugee cookies or amaretti biscuits? One is vegan while the other is gluten-free. Both have almonds and tasty AF. Either way, I shall let you be the judge. Here I wish all the Chinese lovely people a very Happy Lunar New Year! Daniel Lim -
Crispy Sakura Cookies for Spring Crispy Sakura Cookies for Spring
I was supposed to have a booth at a Sakura Festival. Since cookies were highlighted at the booths, I came up with this recipe through trial and error. In the end, we did not have cookies at the booth, but I wanted to make it into a recipe anyway. These cookies would be even more spring-like with some chopped up salted cherry leaves. Cut the dough with sakura, or petal-shaped cookie cutters!Since it is very simple, it may be a good idea to add some fragrance to the dough.Add very small amount of food coloring at a time! The dough becomes quite dark when the food coloring dissolves in liquid! Recipe by Ma--yu cookpad.japan -
