In this paniyaram recipe I include Peels of apple , pear and beetroot along with beetroot and banana pulp .

Ingredients

15 minutes
  1. 1apple, pear & beetroot peels
  2. 1/2beetroot pulp, cut into small pieces
  3. 1ripe banana
  4. 1/2 tsplemon zest
  5. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  6. 2 tbspsemolina
  7. 1 tbspghee
  8. 1/4 cupcurd
  9. 1/4 cupjaggery
  10. 1 tspvanilla essence
  11. 1/4 tspcinnamon powder
  12. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  13. 1 pinchsalt
  14. 1/4 tsplemon juice or vinegar
  15. 2 tbspghee to cook paniyaram

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes

    Firstly, wash and peel apple, pear and beetroot.
    Further, In a grinding jar add all the peels, lemon zest, banana and beetroot pieces grind them till smooth.
    (you may use any tender and sweet fruits or vegetables peels of your choice)

    Transfer the mixture in a big bowl, add in curd, vanilla essence and ghee. Whisk well for 2-3 minutes in the same direction.

    Further, add in wheat flour, semolina, salt, baking powder, cinnamon powder and Jaggery mix them well with a wire whisker. Make sure there is no lumps in it.
    Add lemon juice in the batter and give it a quick mix.

    Heat paniyaram pan and greased its all cavity with ghee.
    Fill the paniyaram cavity with batter, cover and cook for a minute. Once it's done from one side, flip and cook another side for a minute.

    I prepared total 20 paniyaram from this batter.
    Serve hot. Enjoy 😊.
