A customer of mine was always making noise about them and I didn't know how to make them until I decided to bake them for my nephew's and nieces and they are the worst critics but they surprised and actually loved them, ever since then I've been getting orders 😊

Cooking Instructions

Sieve your flour, baking powder, salt and bicarbonate of soda then pour sugar in the mix. Mix it well with a whisk. Add butter and rub it well.

Beat the eggs, add amasi (sour milk), lemon essence and rind together and pour to the dry ingredients. DO NOT OVER MIX AND PLEASE DO NOT KNEAD YOUR DOUGH

Pour flour on the table before pouring the dough so that the dough does not stick to the table and cup it using a cookie cutter or a glass

Preheat the stove on 180°C, grease the pan then place your dough evenly on the tray. Bake on 220°C for 20 to 25min until golden brown on top. You can egg brush your scones before putting in the oven or not(it's your choice)
