Ingredients

  1. For stuffing:
  2. 2 cupshara chana
  3. 100 gpaneer
  4. 2 tablespoongreen chili ginger paste
  5. 1 teaspoongarlic paste
  6. 1/4 cupchopped coriander leaves
  7. 4-5 teaspoonoil
  8. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  11. 1 teaspoonlemon juice
  12. For dough:
  13. 1 cupwheat flour
  14. 1 cupall purpose flour
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 1 teaspoonblack sesame seeds
  17. 1/2 teaspoonajwain
  18. 1/2 cupfinely chopped fenugreek leaves (optional)
  19. 3-4 teaspoonoil
  20. Other ingredients:ghee or oil as required

Cooking Instructions

    Grind hara Chana coarsely in mixer grinder.
    In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds. Add chili ginger and garlic paste and saute for sometimes. Add ground hara chana. Add salt and mix well.

    Cook on low flame. Stir in between. Cook until Chana well cooked. Add garam masala powder and lemon juice. Mix it. Add grated paneer and mix it. Stuffing is ready.

    Knead soft dough from wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, oil, black sesame seeds, ajwain, fenugreek leaves and required amount of water. Rest for 15 minutes. Prepare equal size balls.

    Take a ball. Roll out small roti. Put enough stuffing and seal it by pleating. Roll out again by dusting flour. Cook both sides on tawa with oil or ghee. Yummy hara chana paneer paratha is ready. Serve with tomato ketchup or raita.
