Ingredients

7-8 servings
  1. 300 gramskhoya
  2. 100 gramspaneer/cottage cheese
  3. 2 tbspmaida/all-purpose flour
  4. 1 cup (250grams approx)sugar
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 1 tspcardamom powder
  7. as required oil/ghee as needed for deep frying
  8. 1 pinchbaking powder

    Firstly take khoya, paneer,in a large mixing plate..or flat vessel.. knead it properly lump free with help of palm..(you can use a tbsp of milk if needed) add maida and baking powder knead again... (do not over do it)

    Add sugar and water in a vessel and bring it to boil add cardamom powder, syrup should get little sticky, you don't need any one string syrup here... turn off the flame...

    Now make crack free khoya balls with lil pressure.deep fry them in medium hot oil until golden brown.. add them in to sugar syrup.. (syrup should be little warm) let it rest for 1hour in sugar syrup.Enjoy scrumptious jamuns...
    note:you need to fry them immediately after making balls
    2) before frying entire batch check with one ball.. if it breaks in to oil, you need to add little more maida and knead again..then make balls again.
    3) they tend to get dark soon.. Fry on low flame carefully..
