Cooking Instructions

Greace the cake tin with oil and also sprinkle some refined flour over the oil.

In a mixing bowl take oil add powdered sugar and mix well.

Now over this keep a strainer and add refined flour baking powder and baking soda.

Sieve all these and start making a batter. Add milk according to need or till a ribbon consistency batter is made.

Add vanilla essence and mix well.

Take tutti fruity of your choice colors and coat in refined flour so it will not sink in cake batter.

Pour the batter in cake tin.
On gas keep a heavy bottom karahi, keep a wirestand inside and cover with lid. Now heat this on high flame for 10 minutes.
After that maintain flame at low to medium and keep cake tin to bake. - 8
Bake this cake for 45 - 50 minutes. Insert a knife and check if it comes out dry then it is perfectly bake. Remove the sides of cake with knife.

Vanilla sponge cake is ready. It is very soft & spongy.

Just a very basic, everyday free-from cake recipe, easy to adapt to other flavourings.
