Ingredients

  1. For samosa dough
  2. 1 kgFlour (maida)
  3. 1/4 tespcarrom seeds
  4. 1 tespcumin (dry roasted)
  5. 5 tbspclarified butter (ghee)
  6. Water, as required
  7. For samosa filling
  8. 1 kgpotatoes(boiled)
  9. 3 tbspfresh fenugreek
  10. 1onion
  11. 1tomato
  12. 5-6green chillies
  13. Salt as taste
  14. Chilli powder as required
  15. 1 tbspcumin powder
  16. 1 tespblack pepper
  17. 1 tespgaram masala
  18. 3 tbspoil
  19. 1/2 tbspturmeric powder

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl, add flour (maida), salt, Carom seeds, cumin seeds and clarified butter

    Combine well, then add water and make semi soft dough.

    Leave it for 1 hr, then make tortilla

  4. 4

    Set aside.

    Take wok, add oil and heat it up then add fenugreek (methi)

  6. 6

    Cook for few minutes then add onion and cook for few seconds.

    Add tomatoes, green chillies, salt, chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, black pepper and garam masala

    Cook for few seconds. Add masala in mashed potatoes and combine well.

    Take tortilla and cut into half. Show in picture.

    Make samosas
