Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 2
Bring a saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the lasagna noodles into the boiling water and cook until soft.
- 3
In a large skillet, add in the minced garlic and ground beef and cook until lightly browned. Once completed, remove the ground beef from the stove and drain the excess grease in a strainer.
- 4
Return the ground beef back into the skillet and add in the seasonings, pasta sauce, and grated parmesan cheese and mix until well combined. In a small bowl, combine the egg and ricotta cheese and mix until well combined.
- 5
To assemble: In a 9x9 baking dish, slice two lasagna noodles equally in half and place the four noodles across the bottom of the dish. Next, add in a layer of the pasta sauce mixture and spread evenly across the noodles. Next, place some penny-sized spots of the ricotta cheese mixture across the meat sauce. Lastly, sprinkle the shredded cheese across the layer. Repeat these steps two more times and sprinkle the last layer of shredded cheese with parsley.
- 6
Bake the lasagna uncovered for 30 minutes and let it cool for 5 minutes after it comes out of the oven.
- 7
Serve and enjoy.
