Sup Ketam (Homemade Crab Soup)

It’s a very simple recipe. Easy to do and taste really good. I do this when my kids are not well and it helps to boost platelets count in our blood.
Note: This dish is simple with very less ingredients as it’s for someone who’s not feeling well. You can opt for additional spices, herbs and all too to make the dish more tasty and good. For me this taste just right for my kids as they don’t prefer overpowering taste of spices.

“Soto Ayam” which reminds me of childhood days in Jakarta🇮🇩 “Soto Ayam” which reminds me of childhood days in Jakarta🇮🇩
I used to live in Jakarta, Indonesia during my childhood. When I visited my Indonesian friend’s house, her mother cooked us a very delicious and comforting Soto Ayam. Since then, Soto Ayam has been my most favorite Indonesian dish.Back in Japan, unfortunately, there are not many places where they serve Soto Ayam. Therefore, I need to cook at home. This recipe is mainly based on what I found from Cookpad Japan. The recipe writer is Japanese, but it tastes really authentic and reminds me of my childhood days💕Original recipe that I referred to:https://cookpad.wasmer.app/recipe/6129753?view=classic#share_url Kanaaneko -
Chinese style crab meat omelette on rice “Tenshinhan”, cooking for 1 person - 天津飯 Chinese style crab meat omelette on rice “Tenshinhan”, cooking for 1 person - 天津飯
“Tenshinhan” is recognized as Chinese dish in Japan, but it was actually born in Japan, which I didn’t know until just now😂It’s easy but fulfilling and looks good too. As I know that my mother, who is a housewife, often cooks this for lunch when she is alone at home(I know this because she sent me URLs of Cookpad Japan’s “Tenshinhan” recipes or her cooksnaps few times before).Today, as I had to take a dinner by myself, I remembered this dish and tried cooking it. I combined 2 recipes from Cookpad Japan and here I would like to save my version. Kanaaneko -
Classic Chicken Rendang Classic Chicken Rendang
Chicken rendang is a traditional dish originated from Indonesia but they are very popular and well loved by many in Malaysia. The mouth-watering recipe is a curry-like dish where pieces of chicken are cooked with coconut milk and a healthy amount of spices such as, lemongrass stalks, turmeric root, galangal root and garlic cloves. This dish will often be cooked for a longer period of time to tenderize the meat. Our secret ingredient in making it more flavourful is by mixing the TUMIX® Chicken Stock (link to the recipes of this product). Chicken Rendang has become one of the most popular dishes in Malaysia because it can last for a longer period of time and is a very filling meal! This dish is usually served during special occasions but is also a very popular breakfast as it can be accompanied with many other Malaysian favourites such as the Nasi Lemak Ajinomoto Recipes -
Hainan chicken rice cooked in Staub pot 🐓 "So shiok!" 😋🇸🇬 Hainan chicken rice cooked in Staub pot 🐓 "So shiok!" 😋🇸🇬
Having lived in Singapore for around 10 years, Hainan chicken rice is one of my most favorite dishes of all! ❤️I’m always missing the taste in local hawker center, especially Tian Tian in Maxwell food court. My recipe is still very far from that authentic professional level, but I’m confident that this is delicious enough to enjoy at home😁 And it’s so easy too!(You don’t need to prepare a whole chicken or boil it for few hours)Instead of using a Staub pot, you can use a rice cooker to cook chicken and rice too!As for the sauce, please try dark soy sauce if you can buy it as it usually comes together with chicken rice in Singapore. Since it’s not widely available in Japan, this time I made an original sauce(which is also tasty though!).😉*Shiok means delicious in Singlish. Kanaaneko -
Gluten Free Banana Pancake Gluten Free Banana Pancake
In my family who's not so into healthy food, this is one of the few food they go cray-cray for as well as they will gobble it down as soon as I'm done. Generally they like their pancake sweet so they will drizzle some honey or they will request me to add sugar in the batter which I didn't do it of course and found alternative ways to make it sweet naturally which i have experiment throughout the years. The best thing about this recipe is that is all make from natural ingredients and the process is all very simple and straight-forward. To top of it all, its fill with good carbs, proteins and some fats as well as a good dosed of potassium! #nutrifest #healthydessert Privena Asogan -
Easy Fishball Soup Noodles Easy Fishball Soup Noodles
This recipe is inspired by my mother’s fish ball soup noodles. It’s a comfort home-cooked food that consists of homemade fish balls as the star ingredient. It’s typically served during lunch or dinner..or even teatime. My mother used to make this during rainy monsoon season in my hometown in East Coast Malaysia. Nothing like a bowl of piping hot fishball soup noodles during cold and wet weather to keep the kids warm and happy! Hafsah -
