Ingredients

  1. For kofta:
  2. 2-3 medium size boiled potatoes
  3. 1 tablespoonchopped French beans
  4. 2 tablespooncrushed green peas
  5. 1 tablespoongrated carrot
  6. 50 gmsgrated paneer
  7. 2 tablespoonschopped coriander leaves
  8. As Per TasteSalt
  9. 1/4turmeric powder
  10. 1 teaspoonred chili powder
  11. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  12. 1 teaspoondhania jeera powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoonchat masala
  14. 2 tablespoonscornflour
  15. 2 tablespoonsbreadcrumbs
  16. As RequiredOil for frying
  17. For bhuna gravy
  18. 2 tablespoonsghee
  19. 1 tablespoonoil
  20. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  21. 2-3finely chopped onion
  22. 1/2 cuptomato puree
  23. 1 teaspooncrushed garlic
  24. 1 teaspoongrated ginger
  25. 1/2 cupbeaten curd
  26. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  27. 1/2 teaspoonred chili powder
  28. 1 tablespoonkashmiri red chili powder
  29. 1/2 teaspoonroasted cumin seeds powder
  30. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  31. 1 teaspoonsugar
  32. 1 teaspoonkasoori methi

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl take boiled and mashed potatoes. Add chopped french beans, green peas, grated paneer, carrot, coriander leaves, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhania jeera powder, and garam masala powder. Add cornflour and breadcrumbs.

    Mix all ingredients well and prepare equal size balls from it. Deep fry in hot oil until golden. Keep aside.

    In a pan heat oil and ghee. Add cumin seeds. Add finely chopped onion and saute until onion turns slightly brown. Add crushed garlic and ginger. Saute for sometimes. Meanwhile in a bowl take beaten curd. Add red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, dhania jeera powder, and roasted cumin seeds powder, and mix well. Add this mixture and saute until oil separates.

    Now add tomato puree and saute for 3-4 minutes. If gravy turns dry add little water and stir for at least 3-4 minutes.

    Add approximately 1/2 cup of water. Add salt, sugar, garam masala powder, and kasoori methi. Mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame or until getting the desired consistency. Add kofta and cost with gravy.

    Tempting veg kofta bhuna curry is ready to serve. Serve with paratha or roti.
