Ingredients

30 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 3 cupRice (pre cooked)
  2. 2 cupBroccoli florets (blanched)
  3. 4-5Green Chilli
  4. 1/2 cupdiced Carrot
  5. 1medium Onion
  6. 3-4Cardamom
  7. 4Cloves
  8. 1/2 ” Cinnamon stick
  9. 1/2 ” Ginger
  10. 1 tspGaram Masala powder
  11. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  12. 3-4 tbspOil

    Sauté blanched Broccoli florets by adding slight salt and sauté till brownish and keep aside.

    In moderately heated pan / Wok, add oil and allow to heat, then add all whole spices and allow to crackle then add ginger and sauté for few seconds then add chopped onion + 2 green chilli and sauté till translucent.

    Add diced carrot + little salt +remaining green chilli and sauté for 3-4 minutes till carrot softens.

    Add Garam Masala powder, sprinkle little water so that Masala doesn’t burn and sauté for 1-2 minute.

    Add fried Broccoli florets into it and mix gently and check for salt also.

    Add rice, mix gently and cook for 2-3 minutes. Cover it and simmer for 1-2 minute. Dish is done.

    Yummy Broccoli Rice is ready to serve.
