Ingredients

  1. 500 gRed Speckled Beans, soaked
  2. 4Garlic Cloves, sliced
  3. 2.5 mlDried 0regano
  4. 2250 mlWater
  5. 60 mlOil
  6. 2Red Onions, Diced
  7. 10 mlSalt
  8. 30 mlPaprika
  9. 5 mlGround Black Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Simmer Beans, Garlic Cloves, Dried Oregano, and Water for 1.5 to 2 hours or until beans are very soft.

    Drain the beans. Set the water aside to use later.

    Heat the Oil over medium-high heat. Add in the Red Onions and fry until the onions start to turn brown. Mix in the Salt, Paprika and Pepper.

    Add the drained beans to the onions. Mash the beans in till the desired consistency.

    Gradually add the bean water while mixing continuously until you have the desired consistency and smoothness.
