Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupblack chana
  2. 2boiled potatoes
  3. 3 tspdry roasted besan
  4. 1 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1/2 tsphing
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tsppav bhaji masala
  8. 1/2 tspaamchur
  9. 1/2 tspsugar powder
  10. 4 tsppomegranate seeds
  11. 4 tspthin sev
  12. 2 tspgarlic red chilli chutney
  13. 2 tspcoriander green chilli chutney
  14. 4 tsptamarind jaggery chutney
  15. 6 tspsweet curd
  16. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  17. 1/2 tsplemon juice
  18. 4 tspchopped coriander
  19. 4 tspchopped onion
  20. 4 tspchopped tomato
  21. Salt to taste
  22. Oil to shallow fry tikkis

Cooking Instructions

    Soak overnight kala chana. Cook in pressure cooker till 6 whistles blows. Boil and mashed potatoes.

    Add cooked chana, mash it. Roast besan. Add all masalas in mashed chana and potatoes. Mix well. Add besan mix well.

    Make tikkis. Heat a tawa on a medium flame, shallow fry all tikis on both sides till turns golden brown colour and crispy.

    Keep ready chopped onion, tomato, curd, and all 3 chutneys along with several and pomegranate seeds.

    Arrange tikkis in a serving plate. Poursweet curd, 3 chutneys, sev, and pomegranate seeds. Sprinkle chaat masala, drizzle lemon juice, and all above garnish with coriander.

    Ready to serve a very delicious KalaChanaTokki Chaat.. Enjoy..
