Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix flour with salt, carom seeds, and oil, then knead it and cover for 10 minutes.
- 2
First, peel and mash the boiled potatoes. Grate the beets, ginger, and carrots, and finely chop the onion and bell pepper.
- 3
Now, heat oil in a pan, add whole cumin seeds, and when they crackle, add onions and sauté. Then add chopped green chilies, carrots, ginger, all spices, salt, and turmeric, and sauté. Add the mashed potatoes, mix everything, and let it cool.
- 4
Now, make small balls from the kneaded dough, roll them out, shape them like samosas, and fill them with the stuffing.
- 5
Fry all the samosas.
- 6
To make chana, soak chickpeas in water overnight or for 7-8 hours. In a pressure cooker, sauté onions, add spices, sauté, then add chickpeas and sauté for a while. Add water, close the cooker, and cook for 5 whistles. Once cooled, remove chickpeas from the cooker.
- 7
Now, place samosas on a plate, break them a little, then add chickpeas, chopped onions, cilantro, chili powder, cumin powder, black salt, sev, tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, yogurt, and all chutneys to make the chaat.
- 8
Chana samosa chaat is ready. Enjoy and share it.
