Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupquinoa
  2. 1/4 cupmoong dal
  3. 2 tbspoil
  4. 1 tspmustard seeds
  5. 1 inchcinnamon sticks
  6. 3cloves
  7. 2cardamon
  8. 1sting curry leaves
  9. 1chopped onion
  10. 2green chillies
  11. 1chopped tomato
  12. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  13. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  14. 3french beans
  15. 1small size carrot
  16. 1/4 cupfresh peas
  17. 21/2 cupwater
  18. 1 tbspsalt
  19. 1 handfulchopped coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the lentils and quinoa well and soak them for half an hour.

    Pour oil in a cooker and when it is hot, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom pods and saute them along with onion and green chillies. Saute well. Add ginger garlic paste and saute well.

    Add the chopped vegetables and Add the soaked lentil, quinoa and mix well.

    Add required amount of salt, turmeric powder and water, mix and close the cooker and cook for three whistles.

    After opening the cooker, you can add a teaspoon of ghee if you wish. I have added ghee because my children like it. Sprinkle the required amount of coriander leaves and mix and serve.
