Cooking Instructions
- 1
Start by washing well the Asparagus.
- 2
Next cut off the bottoms, about 1 inch.
- 3
Then it's time to cook it. you can steam it, our boil it.
- 4
To steam the spears, boil an inch or two of water, place them in the steamer and cover. Steam for about 3 minutes.
- 5
If you prefer to boil the Asparagus, put them in a pot with boiling water, and add some salt. Remove after 3 to 5 minutes.
- 6
You may also choose to grill your asparagus. To do so, put the asparagus on the grill salt it, and grill for about 5 minutes rotating the spears at least once.
- 7
In all cases the spears should be crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
- 8
While the asparagus are cooking, start frying the eggs. First make sure you have a fresh egg. You can choose to use oil or butter, it's up to you. I use olive oil.
- 9
Start by heating the oil in a pan. Crack the egg in a ball to make sure you have no shells. then gently slide the eggs into the pan.
- 10
Cover the pan and cook the egg until the white is solid and the yolk is warm to the touch. You may choose to continue to cook the egg until the yolk is set to your liking. I suggest making it sunny side up for this dish, so just base the yolk with oil from the pan and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
- 11
Place the Asparagus on a plate, then add the eggs on top of it.
- 12
Grate the parmesan cheese on top of everything and your meal is ready!

Asparagus with poached egg Asparagus with poached egg
Asparagus with poached or soft boiled egg is a popular dish in Izakaya (dining bar) in Japan, but so far here in Vancouver I haven't seen it🧐 Ok, then I cooked by myself as it is super easy. The photo shows the simple one but sometimes I add shaved Parmigiano, crunchy bacon and some drops of soy sauce. (yes it's true that Japanese use soy sauce for everything;)#eikoskitchen Eiko -
Asparagus and Creamy Scrambled Eggs (Simple Recipe) Asparagus and Creamy Scrambled Eggs (Simple Recipe)
During International Family Day, the high temperatures can often lead to a loss of appetite. Asparagus is a refreshing and appetizing food, especially the tender and crisp green asparagus of spring. Whether prepared Western-style, Chinese-style, stir-fried, or in a salad, it's always delicious. If you want to enjoy it, make sure to do so during its peak season. Scrambled eggs with butter are soft and fragrant, and when paired with crisp asparagus, they are both visually appealing and tasty. Today's asparagus scrambled eggs are a new cooking method I'm trying for the first time, and the taste and texture are quite good. If you have the chance, give it a try. Thank you for watching, and if you like it, please give me a 'like' and 'share'. 潘俊霖的(簡單料理)Translated from Cookpad Taiwan -
Asparagus and Bacon with Soft Set Eggs Asparagus and Bacon with Soft Set Eggs
I usually season stir-fried asparagus and bacon with salt and pepper but I wanted to make something with different seasonings.I was vaguely thinking that there might have been a pasta dish like this, and I added in a soft-set egg. That was a very tasty decision. Before you eat it up, break open the soft-set eggs nicely and mix with the other ingredients. They're good with pasta or toast. For 2 servings.
