Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 largeoxtail cut in ring
  2. 3 eachpotato and carrot cut in chunk
  3. 1 stickcinamon
  4. 3star anise
  5. 2clove
  6. 2 tbspeach dark soysauce and light soysauce
  7. 1 tspsugar
  8. 1 largetomato
  9. 2 cupwater
  10. pound into paste
  11. 1 largeonion
  12. 2 tbspchop garlic
  13. 1 tbspginger

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In pan with little oil put pounded Paste ,cinamon stick,clove and star anis till fragrant then add oxtail and brown it

  2. 2

    Put all ingredient into preasure cooker on high for 40minute

  3. 3

    Simmer for 1 minute to thicken gravy with little cornstarch and serve hot

  4. 4

this is cooked a lot in the south... for oxtail veggie soup. we usually add 2-3 bay leaves, garlic, w/o cinnamon or anise... BUT THE THEORY IS THE SAME... so good with biscuits
