A fabulous brownie. Medium - rich, and not overly moist. I have always preferred a brownie that was much more than just some half-baked batter like most brownies are. I also believe that icing belongs on cakes, and should never be anywhere near these. But a glob of vanilla ice cream is always a good addition!

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupSugar
  2. 1/4 cupCocoa
  3. 1 cupButter, Melted
  4. 2 tspVanilla
  5. 4Eggs
  6. 1 1/2 cupFlour
  7. 1 tspSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Blend SUGAR and COCOA

  2. 2

    Stir in BUTTER

  3. 3

    Beat in EGGS and VANILLA

  4. 4

    Add FLOUR and SALT.

  5. 5

    Pour into greased 9*13 pan.

  6. 6

    Bake 375°F for 25 minutes

  7. 7

    No icing. Icing is for cakes, not brownies!

Great recipe! I like it not too sweet, so I reduced sugar to 1,5 cups, but added 1/2 cup of coconut. Also sprinkled chocolate chips on top. Turned out delicious!
