Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cupall purpose flour
  2. 1/3 cupturkey drippings
  3. 3 cupwater or broth
  4. 1/8to 1/4 teaspoon salt
  5. 1/8 tsppepper

Cooking Instructions

    In a skillet or roasting pan, add flour to drippings; blend well.

  2. 2

    Cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and light brown, stirring constantly.

  3. 3

    Add water; cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

  4. 4

    Stir in salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    *Flour and drippings can be decreased to 1/4 cup each for thinner gravy.*

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old.
