#CA2025 I was making a birthday cake and needed a box of yellow cake mix. No yellow cake mix and it is pouring rain so I’m not going out. Yellow cake recipe to the rescue and it is a winner. I wanted a three layer cake and I am not so good with horizontal cutting so I divided the mix to three pans and cut bake time to 18 minutes.

I always bought box cake mixes because of the shear ease of their usage. Since I found this recipe, there is no turning back.
