Cooking Instructions
- 1
With a large pot bring water to boil. Add salt to taste.
- 2
Add pasta for 8 to 10 minutes. Read pasta box instructions for precise time. Drain. (I like my pasta al dente, so I try it after 6 minutes)
- 3
Add ground beef and sauté for 5 more minutes. Drain grease.
- 4
Heat a large skillet on medium heat and add the chopped onions. Saute for 6 to 10 minutes. (you're free to complement with a clove of garlic)
- 5
Add salt and garlic to taste. You can complement with garlic powder at this time.
- 6
Add everything to the skillet: tomato sauce, tomatoes, corn and cooked macaroni. Allow heat through and stir well for 6 to 7 minutes. Serve warm.

A friend introduce me to haluski twenty years ago. I never had it before and loved it. She made hers without the cottage cheese, so you can do that as well. When I first got with my boyfriend, he told me that his family made it with cottage cheese. I like it that way. This is comfort food for my family. Deneen Flowers -

This recipe goes together very fast. I use an electric skillet to make it. After the broth boils I turn it down to 250. Stir now and then while you help the kids with homework. Great taste and very tender. Alan Bacho
