I used to buy churros for my kids every time we went to the store so I tried and replicate them and I no lo ger have to buy a $2.50 churro for each of my kids. You can make them any time since you have all this ingredients in your pantry.

I used to buy churros for my kids every time we went to the store so I tried and replicate them and I no lo ger have to buy a $2.50 churro for each of my kids. You can make them any time since you have all this ingredients in your pantry.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 2eggs
  4. 1/4 tspsalt
  5. 4 tbspbutter
  6. 1 tspbaking powder
  7. 1 tspvanilla
  8. 1 1/2 cupsugar
  9. 1 tspground cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    In saucepan put water and butter. Bring to a boil.

    Turn off the heat and then add 1/2 of the flour, salt and baking powder to water, mix troughly then add the other half. Mix until well incorporated.

    You can add vanilla and one egg at a time to dough but I recomend using a stand mixer. Mix until dough is smooth

    Then place churro dough in a pastry bag. Cut desired length pieces with scissors In a pan with vegetable oil, cook until golden brown. Or longer if you like them more browned.

    Place on paper towel to absorb excess oil, the mix the sugar and cinnamon in bowl and coat the churros while they are still warm so the sugar sticks to the churro.
