Cooking Instructions

Add all the above masalas, soaked chole and chana dal and tea water and plain water in the cooker and now keep the cooker on the gas on high flame. When one whistle comes then lower (sim) the gas and keep it on it for 1 hr.

Now close the gas and let it rest till all the steam of it comes out. After the steam comes out open the lid and see the chanas that whether they are soft or not. If not then keep it for a little more time on gas.

Heat 4-5 tbsp of oil/olive oil in a kadahi sim the gas add 2 tsp degi mirch powder and immediately add all the boiled chanas cooked above without the water of it. Mix it well. Cook it on low flame for 10 mins. Now add all the water of chanas too in it. If the water of the chana is not enough then you can add normal water too depending on how much thick or thin you want Now cook it for at least 45 mins on low flame.

Add slit green chillies, ginger juliens and coriander leaves. Mix it again and switch off the gas. Your chole are ready to eat.
