Garlic, Butter Herb Wings Baked

So good, everyone will like these wings.
Pretty easy to do. Good flavor, I think needs more heat but that is just me. Even my daughter who kept saying she doesn't like wings, had thirds.

Ingredients

  1. Wings
  2. 4 lbthawed frozen or fresh chicken wings
  3. 1 tspgarlic powder
  4. 1/2 tspchili powder
  5. 3 tbsplemon juice
  6. 3 tbspolive oil
  7. 1/4 tspcayenne pepper (optional)
  8. Sauce
  9. 1 stickbutter
  10. 3 tspminced garlic
  11. 1 tspolive oil
  12. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  13. 1 tbspassorted chopped fresh herbs, parsley, basil, rosemary, oregano
  14. 1/2 tspsalt (or to taste)
  15. 1/2 tspground black pepper (or to taste)

Cooking Instructions

    For the chicken: Mix everything together except the wings in a large bowl.

    Add the wings to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Place in the refrigerator for 3 hours or overnight.

    For the sauce: Melt butter, then mix the seasonings with herbs, set aside.

    Cooking: Bake at 400°F hot oven on greased foil or parchment paper until crispy around 1 hour or more. Frozen take about 10 minutes longer than fresh or thawed.

    When crispy and browned, coat with 1/2 the butter and herb sauce.

    Bake for around 10 minutes pour the rest of the sauce over the wings to soak in the butter and garlic herb sauce and serve.

Pretty good recipe, very easy to follow. I added a little fresh parmesan before serving for taste and a little more salt.

My wife is disabled, she has M.S. And she finds it hard to cook from her wheelchair. I like a variety of foods, but hate tomatoes, so you don't see too many of my recipes with tomatoes on them. Also both of us have type II diabetes, so high carb and sweet is usually not on the menu either. We have one married daughter, and one that now lives in the Seattle area. We live in Texas, USA with our two dogs.Sorry I have not posted in awhile. Been taking chemo and radiation. and it has taken some out of me. Doctor says it seems to be working, so there is that.
