Belgium waffles w/fresh apple compote

These were a creation in thanks to my sweet tooth.....i wanted dessert but it was dinner time. So i said who doesn't love breakfast! This waffle is half breakfast and half dessert......a perfect dinner when your craving something sweet.
Cooking Instructions

First 5 ingredients are for apple compote. Remaining ingredients for waffle.

Melt butter in pan
- 3
While butter is melting in pan peel, cut and core apples then place in butter

Add Brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla to apples and butter. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until apples are tender

Mix together dry ingredients for batter prep.

In a separate bowl mix together wet ingredients

Gently combine wet ingredients into flour mixture.

Spray waffle iron with cooking spray and pour on batter. Cook until Brown about 2 to 4 minutes each.

Finally put a scoop of apple compote on top of waffle and sprinkle with powdered sugar. If desired serve with whip cream.
