Coconut cake with toasted coconut #baking contest#

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsugar
  2. 1/2 cupmargarine
  3. 3eggs
  4. 1/2 tspvanilla essence
  5. 1 tspcoconut essence
  6. 2 cupsall purpose flour
  7. 2 tspbaking powder
  8. 1/2cup
  9. 1 cupcoconut shredded

Cooking Instructions

    PPre-heat oven @180 C

  2. 2

    Grease your baking tin (loaf tin)then set aside

  3. 3

    Beat sugar and margarine together for 5 minutes to a cream state.

  4. 4

    Add eggs one by one creaming the mixture for about 2 minutes

  5. 5

    Add vanilla and coconut essence together also add milk mix together

  6. 6

    Fold in dry ingredients (Sieved flour and baking powder)

  7. 7

    Pour batter into the baking tin then sprinkle shredded coconut(I grated coconut,then I toasted them)

  8. 8

    Bake for 45 minutes
