Soft & yummy, one is not enough- sugar treats for the kids ..... a favorite for my young nephew, first time i made these for him i got some serious compliments from him! :-)
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, mix your lour, cardamon and ghee/margarine.

Add in your coconut milk bit by bit as you knead to get a pliable dough.

Cover the dough and set aside to let it rise. OR
- 4
Roll out the dough and cut into diagonals/squares and let rise.

Deep fry them to a lightly brown color. Set aside to cool.

Pour the sugar in a sufuria with the water and cook the syrup till thickish/sticky. Remove from heat.

Split the syrup in two parts and place it on medium high heat once it starts bubbling add in half of the cooked mitai and toss it around so that the syrup coats the mitai well and dries. Repeat till all is done.
