Easy Biscuits Easy Biscuits
After many trials, this is closest to the original.Stop immediately once the dough has formed. Do not over-knead, or it won't crack. It's fine if it's slightly powdery.Mix briskly without over thinking.During the hot season, let the dough cool in the fridge, then the scones will crack when baking. For about 6 cm × 6 biscuits. Cathead Biscuits Cathead Biscuits
Came across this recipe from my Muffins and Biscuits book. They say the recipe name comes from an old legend that says these biscuits are supposed to be big as a cats head. Well I took one of my biscuits and held it to my cats head. Legend is dead on. Tried to take a photo but my cat refused and threatened to call PETA on me so you'll just have to take my word on it. Maybe next time. Brandy T.
