Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 16medium sized potatoes
  2. 2 clovesgarlic
  3. 1ginger root
  4. 1 tbsGaram masala
  5. 1 tbstumeric
  6. 1 tspegg yellow colour optional
  7. 1 bunchdhania
  8. 1 cupgram flour-this is the secret ingredient
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the potatoes and wash them clean then slice them into thin circles

  2. 2

    Finely grate your garlic and ginger and put them together with all other spices in a bowl

    Measure the gram flour needed

  4. 4

    Add to the spices

  5. 5

    Add a little water to make a thick paste,finely chop your dhania add them and add half your potatoes

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them in batches make sure you get a coating of the gram batter on each potatoe do not overcrowd your pan

    When evenly brown on both sides and potato is cooked remove from oil and put on a bowl with serviette to capture excess oil

  8. 8

    Serve and enjoy with salad of own choosing.bon appetit
