Ingredients

  1. 1 kgflour
  2. 60 gsugar
  3. 80 gbutter
  4. 11/2 tbspactive yeast
  5. 2eggs
  6. 2 cupswarm water
  7. Dashnutmeg
  8. Pinchsalt
  9. 1/2 cupSugar for coating

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, sift flour, add yeast, sugar, salt nutmeg and give it a quick mix. Whish egg into 2 cups warm water and mix with flour to form a dough, Add butter and knead well for 10-15min until it's super soft and smooth.

    Use a kitchen scale and measure dough into 100grams, rub some butter on a surface and mould beautifully, arrange on a tray and cover or put into the oven to let it rise for 30mins,

    Pour oil in a pan, and set on fire, use your middle finger to punch the middle of the dough, lift and tilt until a hole is made,drop in oil and fry till golden brown

    Coat with sugar while its still hot and serve warm or cold!
