Rigatoni with Homemade Meat Sauce Rigatoni with Homemade Meat Sauce
I love to use rigatoni with meat sauce because it picks up the sauce so well! Also, I like to change my sauce ingredients depending on what I have around at the time, and what I'm in the mood for, as far as vegetables & toppings go. One thing I almost always add to my sauce is the brown sugar. The kids and I both enjoy the sweetness in the sauce. You can make this into a cheesy sauce by adding parmesan and/or other cheeses and even cream. You can make this into a savory & spicy sauce by adding crushed red pepper and/or other hot peppers. You can add vegetables to the sauce to make a "garden medley." And, you can even make this with vegan meat! Of course sauce will always get better the longer it simmers with the ingredients. This is made quick for dinner. However, if your heart is truly in making the sauce you can continue to simmer it for a few hours or even slow cook it in a crockpot. #pasta #pastasauce #meatsauce #spaghettisauce #pastanight #italiannight Chef Mommy Nessa -

Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables with Egg Crepe and Curry Sauce Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables with Egg Crepe and Curry Sauce
Stir-fried mixed vegetables, or 'he cai', is a dish where you slice and stir-fry your favorite ingredients, then top them with a thin egg crepe—hence the name 'he cai dai mao' (mixed vegetables with a hat). This is a classic home-cooked dish, but it can also be served at gatherings. The idea is to use up whatever you have in the fridge—mix and match any combination of meat or vegetables you like. I happened to have beech mushrooms and white shimeji mushrooms, which add extra nutrition and texture. The glass noodles soak up the mushroom juices, making them flavorful and satisfying. I also added my favorite firm tofu. In short, this dish is all about variety—just stir-fry the flavors you and your family enjoy. The egg crepe is the highlight! For a tender, silky crepe, add a little mayonnaise to the beaten eggs. This dish is great for all ages, and I serve it with a delicious curry sauce for a unique twist. The variety of ingredients creates a perfect blend of textures and flavors. 凱茜媽咪の廚房Translated from Cookpad Taiwan -

Cod with Vegetable Ankake Sauce Cod with Vegetable Ankake Sauce
I combined in-season cod with some vegetables I had in the refrigerator, to make a Japanese-style dish.If you prefer to have lots of sauce, double the sauce ingredients. The key is to not flip the cod over too often when it's cooking. Leave it alone so that it can brown on one side, then turn over and brown the other side. This way they won't fall apart, and will have a crispy finish. If you want the vegetables to be crispy, don't stir fry them or simmer them in the sauce for too long. Recipe by oldice cookpad.japan
