Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprefined flour
  2. 3 spoonsemolina
  3. 1 spoonfennel seeds
  4. 1 1/2 cupmilk
  5. 200 gramsclarified butter
  6. 100 gramsgrated mava
  7. 1 pinchyellow food colour
  8. 1 cupwater
  9. 1 cupsugar
  10. 1/2 spooncardamom powder
  11. 7-8saffron threads
  12. 2 spoonschopped pistachios

Cooking Instructions

    Mix milk and mava in a bowl and blend with a blender for 5 minutes

    Mix semolina,refined flour and fennel seeds in it

  3. 3

    Add more milk if required

  4. 4

    Keep the consistensy like a cake batter and keep aside for 1 hour

  5. 5

    Boil sugar and water in a wok and make 1 string of sugar syrup

  6. 6

    Mix colour,cardamom powder and saffron strands in sugar syrup

  7. 7

    Heat clarified butter in a pan and pour 1 spoon of batter in it

  8. 8

    Cook from both sides until crispy

  9. 9

    Take out from pan and dip into sugar syrup

  10. 10

    Make all malpue like this and take out in another bowl.

    Garnish with pistachios and serve hot.
