I concocted this easy buffalo wing sauce for my husband who is from the Philippines, and loves mangos.
I suppose you could say I "winged it". My husband likes these chicken wings very much, and so do I. They are great served with carrot chips, celery sticks, ranch and/or blue cheese dressing. The sauce is addicting!

I believe I inherited a love of cooking from my paternal grandmother, who I'm told was a fabulous cook. She passed away when I was very young, so I never had a chance to know her well. She was Italian, and passed her love of cooking down to my father, who always took pride in his Italian spaghetti. I love to keep my recipes simple. I often combine recipes and use my own ideas to make my own creations. I always say a recipe is just a guide, not a rule book. I also have a Filipino husband who also loves cooking Asian, so we have fun trying each other's recipes, and often cook together.
