Bhakhri is as much as favourite & popular as Thepla amongst Gujaratis. But even in this something new, some change is demanded. Though traditional bhakhri is made from coarse wheat floor, here I used mukti grain flour along with coarse flour & added khatta aachar paste for making it tastier.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupcoarse wheat flour
  2. 1 cupmultigrain flour
  3. 1/2 cupkhatta aachar (tangy mango pickle)
  4. 4 tbspoil
  5. as requiredGhee for cook bhakhri

Cooking Instructions

    Make paste of pickle in chutney mixer.

  2. 2

    Mix flour & oil properly, add paste & mix properly. Knead hard dough by adding little water.

    Roll thick & cook from both side with ghee on slow medium heat. Use wooden press for making crispy bhakhri. Serve hot or cold with tea, curd or sabji.
