#vattaram Chennai keerai paruppu kadayal & Chepankizhangu roast

தேவையான பொருட்கள்

  1. Amaranthus keerai
  2. Onion 1 small size
  3. Garlic cloves 6
  4. Green chillies 2 nos, turmeric powder
  5. 1/2 cupThur dhal
  6. as neededSalt, water
  7. For tempering mustard, red chillies 2, asafoetida 1/2 tsp & ghee
  8. For chepankizhangu roast chepankizhangu 1/2 kg, oil, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder

சமையல் குறிப்புகள்

    Clean and wash keerai and keep aside. Wash thur dhal. In a vessel add thur dhal, green chillies, garlic cloves, turmeric powder & onion. Add 1 cup water and washed keerai

    Close with lid and allow to cook for 10 minutes.

    Open the vessel, add salt and them altogether. If needed add water as required. Allow to boil.

    Finally for tempering, in a small pan add 1 tsp ghee, mustard seeds, 2 red chillies and 1/2 tsp asafoetida powder. Add the tempering into the keerai.

    For chepankizhangu roast, wash kilangu and add in a vessel and let it cook.

    Once cooked, peel off the skin and cut it into round slices.

  7. 7

    Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and asafoetida powder.

  8. 8

    Heat oil in a pan. Add the spice mixed kilangu and roast till golden brown. Serve rice with keerai kadayal and chepankizhangu roast.
