And using readymade Sheets makes half the job done. You just have to make the filling and fry them. It's a lovely change to the usual routine stuff and everyone loves them. Make these for Snacking, for Brunch or even for Shaam Ki Chai.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Saute Onion in butter on a low heat until translucent. Add Garlic either minced or chopped. Also add Green Peas and other ingredients as well. Cover and cook for a minute or two. And finally add Cheese. Mix well and take it off the heat. Keep it covered. The heat will melt it down. You can use any Cheese of your choice or depending upon it's availability.

Place a tablespoon of this filling on each Spring Roll Sheet. Roll downwards and fold from both the sides shaping them and securing them with flour paste. For this mix 1 tablespoon of Aata or Maida in little water to form a thick but smooth paste without lumps.
- 3
Follow the same method for making all the Spring Rolls. Deep fry in enough Oil on a medium high heat until golden brown and done. They don't take much time in frying. Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup. Enjoy!

Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp
I love fresh spring rolls, but they are rather expensive to buy readymade, so I made my own. I can't remember the shock I felt when I tried shiso leaves in them...it was a great match. Since then I've always used shiso leaves in these. The shiso leaves make a big difference, so I definitely recommending including them. The other vegetables can be anything you like. Try out your favorites. You can use canned tuna or ham etc. instead of the shrimp. The last important part of the recipe is the rolling. Just try it several times to get a feel for it. For 7 rolls. Filipino Spring Rolls (Lumpiang Shanghai) Filipino Spring Rolls (Lumpiang Shanghai)
No Filipino party is complete without these guys.I wanted to fry something else after buying a gallon of peanut oil for fried chicken the night before. This was the first thing that crossed my mind.Problem was, there were TONS of differing recipes for this online, and my mom couldn't give me measurements because she just estimates everything. We can't make recipes that way!I ended up comparing 17 of these recipes side by side, reading reviews for the good and the bad, and made adjustments accordingly to create one I was satisfied with. I got to cooking and was pleased by the results. Hopefully, you'll be too! downshift_wot -
Baked Veggie Spring Rolls with Indian Flavour - Fusion Style Baked Veggie Spring Rolls with Indian Flavour - Fusion Style
#Bandhan - Here are some very easy and delicious crispy baked Veggie Spring Rolls. They are great as appetizers with green chutney / sauce / dip or as a tea-time snack. Choice is yours. Absolutely healthy with all the goodness of colourful veggies, it is bound to be a hit at your place this festive season. You can add any of your favourite veggies too.I went out of the beaten track and instead of adding the usual soya sauce, pepper and chili sauce, I experimented with our very own Indian flavours. I added fresh grated coconut, crushed roasted peanuts, roasted gram flour (to absorb the moisture), curry leaves, sambar powder and chili flakes to make it more spicy. I should admit it turned out lip smacking. So go ahead and bring out a different flavour each time you bake these yummy goodies and impress your near and dear ones. Frankly speaking I really enjoyed baking them. Try baking along with your kids. They will have a wonderful time creating these spring rolls. Bethica Das -
Simple Non-Fried Toasted Spring Rolls Simple Non-Fried Toasted Spring Rolls
When eating out I've had both spring rolls with cream cheese and spring rolls with edamame, so I decided to see what would happen if I combined them Then I added some of my favourite mentaiko and cooked them in the oven (since I couldn't be bothered with frying them). They came out really well and everyone loved them! Now I have these all the time. You can add more edamame if you'd like, but if you add in 4, they're spaced out just enough so that you get a bean with each bite.
