Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2Green peppers
  • 1Carrot
  • 1pack Cellophane noodles (harusame)
  • 5Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1Salt (to taste)
  • 1Soy sauce (to taste)
  • 1Sesame oil (to taste)
  • 8sheets Spring roll wrappers
  • 1equal parts flour and water (as needed)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the green peppers, carrots and mushrooms into thin strips. Rehydrate the harusame and chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the green peppers, carrots and mushrooms. When they are slightly cooked, add the cellophane (harusame) and stir fry. Add salt and soy sauce while stirring.

  3. 3

    On a spring roll wrapper, evenly place the filling from step 2 and spread flour dissolved in equal amount of water along the edge of the wrapper and roll it up.

  4. 4

    Place the spring rolls on a frying pan with oil, and fry until they are browned on both sides.
