Ingredients

  1. 1 cupMoong dal
  2. 3-4Spring onions chopped
  3. 3Green chillies chopped
  4. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  5. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 1/2 tsphaldi( Turmeric) powder
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 3 tbspOil
  9. 1 cupWater
  10. 1 tbspCoriander leaves

    Firstly soak the dal for half and hour then drain it nicely. Now dry roast the dal in a kadai till it changes its color to slightly light brown. This will enhance the flavor.

    Now in pot add oil chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, red chilli powder, haldi powder and salt mix nicely then add the roasted dal then add water. After sometime add green onion or spring onion chopped. Cooked for a while until the dal is cooked its ready in 15 min have it in the lunch with roti chapati etc. Garnish with coriander chopped
