Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprefined flour
  2. Pinchsalt
  3. 1 tspghee
  4. 1 tsppowdered sugar
  5. as requiredWater to knead
  6. 1 cuphomemade apple Kalakand/crumbled
  7. 2 tspchopped almonds
  8. 2 tspchopped pistachios
  9. 1 tspdry rose petals
  10. 4 cuphomemade rabdi
  11. Pinchsaffron
  12. For apple Kalakand we need
  13. 4apple peeled,grated
  14. 300 gmshomemade paneer/ cottage cheese / crumbled
  15. 2 tbspmilk powder
  16. 400 gmssweetened condensed milk
  17. 1 tbspghee
  18. Pinchsaffron
  19. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  20. 1 tbspchopped almonds
  21. 1 tbspChopped pista

Cooking Instructions

    In a nonstick pan take the above-mentioned ingredients except the dry fruits & saute on low flame for 15 mints or till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

    Switch off the flame & transfer the contents to a greased tray.Garnish with chopped almonds,pistachios.

    Set aside to cool down a bit before refrigerating it for an hour.

    For momo- Knead a dough with flour, ghee, sugar, salt & required quantity of water.

    Cover with a damp cloth & keep aside.

    Divide the dough into 7-8 equal portions. Rollout each portion into a small puri.

    Place some of the crumbled apple Kalakand in the centre & give the shape of momo.

    Make similar momos with the remaining dough & kalakand (reserve some Kalakand for garnishing)

    Steam them in a steamer for 8-10 mints.Now place the momos in a serving plate & drizzle the homemade rabdi over it.

    Garnish with the remaining Kalakands, saffron, chopped almonds, pistachis, rose petals & enjoy this fusion delicacy.
