Ingredients

25 minutes
serves 4 servin
  1. 250 gmsmethi(2cups)
  2. 1 cupbesan
  3. 1small cup grated coconut
  4. 2 Tbsp oil
  5. 1 tbsp cumin , coriander powder
  6. 1tbsp chopped green chillies
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 1/2tsp turmeric powder and asafoetida
  9. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  10. 1/2tbsp Jaggery
  11. 1/2tbsp mustard and cumin seeds

    Wash and chop methi.here I have not used onion and garlic as Monday fasting is there but you can add.

    Heat oil in thick bottom deep pan add oil,once hot add chopped green chillies,saute.add mustard and cumin seeds.add turmeric powder.now add chopped methi leaves.saute.

    Add cumin coriander powder,red chilli powder,salt, Jaggery.if you don't want you can skip Jaggery but it removes pungent taste of methi. Add little water.cook for 5 minutes.

    Once it is cooked add besan with continues stirring.mix well cook for more 5 minutes.add grated coconut,add lemon juice.serve hot with bhakari.
