I coated a regular tonkatsu in a sweet and spicy sauce and it was awesome.

♦ If you plan to use this for a rice bowl, coat in the sauce quickly so that the tonkatsu retains its crispiness. I think it tastes better that way.

Ingredients

  1. 5pieces Folded Tonkatsu (pork cutlet)
  2. 1Or tonkatsu
  3. 1 tspSoy sauce
  4. 3 tspWater
  5. 1/2 tspSugar
  6. 1 tspMirin

Cooking Instructions

    Make the tonkatsu.

    Put the 〇 ingredients into a frying pan and turn on the heat. When it boils, add the tonkatsu and coat both sides with the sauce. When coated, turn off the heat and enjoy.

    If you put this on top of a bowl of warm rice, you can make "Sauced Tonkatsu Rice Bowl"~

    It's got a strong flavor, so pack in your bento, too!
