Ingredients

1 hour and 30 minutes
4-6 people
  1. 100 grammelted butter
  2. 200 grammilkmaid
  3. 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  4. 1 cupsemolina (suji)
  5. 1/2 cupdesignated coconut
  6. 150 mlwater (normal)
  7. For Sugar Syrup-
  8. 200 gramsugar
  9. 1 cupwater
  10. 1/2 tsplemon juice
  11. 1 tsprose water
  12. 12-15 piecesalmonds sliced(for decoration)

Cooking Instructions

    Take one big bowl add milkmaid, water and butter. Mix well and keep aside

    Take another bowl add suji, designated coconut and baking powder. Mix nicely.

    Now mix dry ingredients with butter water mixture. Add some almonds and keep some for decoration. Now take one square shape tin around 8 inches. Grease it and pour the mixture and keep aside for 30 minutes.

    After 30 minutes bake it in a pre heated oven for 30-35 minutes. After giving 5 minutes standing time takeout the cake and pour the sugar mixture on cake and bake it again for 10 minutes.

    Super moist and tasty Basbousa cake is ready. Must try.😋
