A yummy twist by me to the ever famous Waffles with Custard Apple pulp as one of the main ingredient. These are absolutely easy to whip up with a few most common pantry staples available in every kitchen. They not only look gorgeous but are equally fabulous in taste and texture. Your loved ones will like it's awesome flavour for sure and these can be an instant hit at any kids party. A delicious idea for Breakfast and Brunch as well and as an anytime snack to dig in joyfully.
In this particular innovative twist by me, I have used frozen Custard Apple pulp which was freshly frozen by me when they were available aplenty in Winters. This pulp becomes handy to whip up some really awesome goodies like these fluffy Waffles. There is absolutely no need of any sweetner other than this pulp. But if desired, you can add Sugar. I have actually swapped Sugar with Custard Apple pulp for a healthy change. Not only these have turned out beautifully aromatic and flavourful but also tastes incredible. Let's get started then.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
First of all, sieve all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Also keep the frozen custard apple pulp ready. Thaw it beforehand for the ease of use.
- 2
Add melted butter to the eggs along with the vanilla essence and the rest of the ingredients one by one except the custard apple pulp. Mix well until lumpfree.
- 3
With the help of a spatula, fold in the custard apple pulp next. Plug in the waffle maker and grease with little butter or oil for each single batch.
- 4
Add 3/4 of the batter at a time and make about 14 waffles with these measurements. It takes about 4-5 minutes for each batch to get done perfectly well.
- 5
Do not open the lid immediately. Let the steam escape fully before opening so that you end up with super crisp and perfect waffles. Enjoy!

Belgian waffles Belgian waffles
Everyone loves waffles, the free-hotel-continental-breakfast waffles. And whenever we try to make them at home, they keep falling short. And it makes us wonder the “secrete” ingredients that we are missing out on?Using pre-made waffle mix, homemade mix all resulted in disappointment. Did research upon research and I found out that “secrete” ingredient—corn flour or starch. And, of course, keeping the waffles warm in the oven.Another trick is to separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. While the egg yolks are whisked till smooth and added along with the other wet ingredients and added to the dry, the whites are whisked till stiff peaks are formed and folded into the batter. This is why you will see some frothy egg in the batter.Do not be tempted to use buttermilk. Use regular milk. Buttermilk makes the waffles creamy not crispy. The batter will be runny. Thinner than other waffle batter.Belgian waffles are a type of waffle known for their lighter batter, larger squares, and deeper pockets compared to American waffles, making them ideal for holding syrup and toppings. Originally, Belgian waffles were leavened with yeast, but modern recipes often use baking powder for convenience. Belgian waffles are commonly eaten for breakfast but can also be served as dessert with ice cream and fruit.Next time you are making waffles, try these tips mentioned above and see the result! Savoury Corn Waffles Savoury Corn Waffles
#HFFMonsoon_SpecialWhen the pitter patter sound of rain falls the tummy craves for something hot, crispy, crunchy and of course with corn in it. You must have eaten sweet waffles but I made these crisp, Savoury Corn Waffles for that baarish wali bhook. Easy to make and delicious when it's raining.I have never made waffles at home and I just blindly whisked up my own vegetarian savoury waffle recipe. Next on my list is crispy potato waffles for myself and chicken for my daughter. This spicy and filling corn and pepper stuffed waffle can be eaten as a starter or at breakfast or dinner, especially in summers. You can serve the waffles on a bed of lettuce, chopped cucumber, tomatoes, diced onions, red pepper flakes or any sauce. You can add mixed herbs, cheese or spices to the batter if you wish. I like a little spice and served the Savoury Corn Waffles with chilli garlic and Sriracha sauce.Yes, these waffles are made with refined flour but I am going to try with whole wheat or mixed grain. A sweet custard cream with delicious apple! Amazing combo bread! When making bread-When placing yeast and salt in a bowl at the beginning, do not put it next to each other! When yeast touches salt before the yeast is dissolved in liquid, the salt will stop yeast from working.-Always use warm milk and unsalted butter-when rising, make sure the dough has doubled its size from beginning to end. Adjust the time if necessary.-if the dough is drying, spray water with spray bottle Anna -
