Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupsoftened butter
  2. 1 cupsugar
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 tspvanilla extract
  5. 1 1/4 cupall purpose flour
  6. 1 pinchsalt
  7. 2 cuppopped popcorn, lightly crushed
  8. 1 cup(6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  9. 1/2 cupchopped pecans
  10. 1/2 tspbaking soda

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Sir in popcorn, chocolate chips and pecans.

    Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 13 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cooks.

    Makes 2 1/2 dozen
