Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1/2 cupmoong dal
  2. 1/2 cupdaliya or rice
  3. 1/2 spoongarlic ginger paste
  4. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  5. 1 tspChilli powder
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/2 tspJeera
  8. 1 spoonghee
  9. 3 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Take a pressure cooker, add washed moongdal and rice or daliya it's ur choice. Add 1/2 spoon of garlic ginger paste, pinch of haldi, pinch of mirchi powder, namak, jeera and water.

    Now mix all these with a spoon check the taste of salt....if not please add accordingly.

    Now close the cooker lid. Now start ur induction or gas and place cooker on high flame.

    Make 2 whistels on high and 2 on low flame. Now off the flame. Let the pressure completely run away by it's own...and now take it kichidi into serving bowl and add 1 spoon of ghee...

    It's so yummy, healthy, oil free, spices free. Healthy and colourfull...give it a try...
